Rotarian – South Brunswick Islands Rotary Agent Profile: Larry, born in Rockingham, is native to North Carolina. A family move took him to Winston Salem for high school years and graduated from Mt. Tabor High School in 1971. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill (class of '75), then UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry (Class of ’78). Larry returned to Rockingham to open a private dental practice. He practiced there from 1978-1985 when he sold his practice and moved to the coast. He began a new dental practice in Calabash, NC and resided in Sunset Beach with wife, Cherri and three sons, Clifton, Grayson and Baxter. In 2000, Larry retired from the dentistry profession. With an investor background,and personal real estate investments, real estate seemed only natural. Larry formed Resort Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. that same year. Since that time he has been operating as President and Broker-In-Charge of the firm and is well versed in all facets of residential and commercial real estate. Family and community are foremost in his day to day life.
